Focus and Scope

Panggulawentah: Journal of Education and Social Humanities focuses on the study of education and the social sciences and humanities, with the primary goal of providing a broader academic space for the development of social sciences, which have so far received relatively little research attention. This journal serves as a scientific medium to strengthen the position of the social sciences and humanities as a foundation for understanding education, society, and humanity, in line with Panggulawentah's meaning as a process of guiding and humanizing people through valuable education.

Through a multidisciplinary approach, Panggulawentah encourages research, theoretical studies, and critical reflection that position education in its interconnectedness with social, cultural, and humanitarian dynamics. The journal's focus includes learning development, media and learning resources, learning methods and models, curriculum, educational technology, and other pedagogical innovations. At the same time, the journal pays special attention to studies in the social sciences and humanities, including culture, local wisdom, religious studies, sociology, anthropology, economics, politics, government, citizenship, psychology, history, and other social studies relevant to education and community life.
